DCJ Digital Design System

Masthead

The masthead is placed at the top of all NSW Government websites and serves as a clear indicator of the site's affiliation with the NSW Government. It also includes accessibility features such as ReadSpeaker, allowing users to listen to web page content.

Refer to NSW Digital Design System - Masthead for full guidance and demo on how and when to use this.

Placement

Mastheads are automatically positioned at the top of the header on every page. They serve to notify users that they are accessing a NSW Government website.

Customisation

  • For brand exempt websites, a brand colour may be applied to the masthead. Please refer to the NSW Government DCS brand requirement about the colour choices.
  • A DCJ home link may be added to the masthead on agency websites to link users to the DCJ website homepage.
